I am Elysabeth Nguyen, Executive Director of the Our Lady La Vang Foundation, project lead for the construction of the Shrine of Our Lady of La Vang at the Cathedral, and executive producer of the documentary Our Lady La Vang At The Center. Like most Vietnamese-American Catholics, I grew up with the stories of Our Lady of La Vang, who is believed to have protected and saved the Vietnamese people from persecution.
